February 21 & 28 and March 7, 14, 21 & 28
6:30 - 7:45 pm
Corpus Christi Catholic School
(during Wednesday Faith Formation classes)
This free six-week session is designed to help parents connect with other parents about the challenges and joys of parenting today, and how our Catholic faith informs our parenting and way of life. This topic of "Taming Technology " calls parents to reflect and share with one another about both the advantages and dificulties of technology use in their families.
About our discussion facilitator: St. Francis parishioner Stephanie Irizarry's passion is learning. Currently, she serves as director of instruction at add.a.lingua where one of her primary roles is to facilitate adult learning. A mom of two young boys (ages 8 and 4), Steph is excited to participate as a learner and facilitator in dialogue with families. Together we will explore how we can support our children while reflecting on the role technology plays in our lives.
Please note: this is a pilot program and only offered in English. We hope to offer other conversation series in the fall in English and in Spanish.
