The bridge to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel entrance has served the faithful of this parish for many years. However, the weather and ice and snow removal products have taken their toll on the wood deck boards and the fasteners of the bridge. Starting November 1st, 2023, the bridge will receive a facelift with new synthetic deck boards made from recycled plastic products. During this time, the entrance to the Blessed Sacrament Chappel will be closed, but the Maple street entrance to the church will be open to allow access to the chapel through the church. This work is weather dependent, we are hoping the detour will only last a couple days. The short inconvenience will be outweighed by the new look, safety and longevity of the new bridge deck.
El puente hacia la entrada de la Capilla del Santísimo Sacramento ha servido a los fieles de esta parroquia durante muchos años. Sin embargo, el clima y los productos de remoción de hielo y nieve han pasado factura a las tablas de madera de la plataforma y a los sujetadores del puente. A partir del 1 de noviembre de 2023, el puente recibirá un lavado de cara con nuevas tarimas sintéticas hechas de productos de plástico reciclado. Durante este tiempo, la entrada a la Capilla del Santísimo Sacramento estará cerrada, pero la entrada de la iglesia por la calle Maple estará abierta para permitir el acceso a la capilla a través de la iglesia.
